How often should you really service your suspension?
August 16 2016, 1 Comment
Suspension servicing is one of the most under rated "services" on a motorcycle and one that riders neglect - You will all give the engine fresh oil and filter, flush the brake fluid... but not many people think about the front forks or rear shock.
Some Racers will service their forks after every round, some every six months. For the "average Joe" using the machine frequently on track we recommend Yearly services of the Front and Rear. If the bike is being used most weekends Racing or Trackdays we recommend every six months.
For Road riders the suggestion is every two years. Too soon I hear you day? Have a look at a video further down of a "new" bike shock..... you be shocked as what you see!
Suspension servicing is one of the most under rated services a rider considers being done.
